Taking Singaporeans as Fools?

Postby Exploited Worker on Thu Mar 13, 2008 8:51 am

Dishing out $1 billion plus out of a surplus of $6 billion plus,
despite a forecast of a budget deficit of about $1 billion,
left much to be desired.

While most of the poor and middle class in Singapore are grappling
with the instigated inflation (through the implementation of the
40% increase in GST), the gahmen has collected a record huge surplus.

This shows that greed knows no bound - so much that the welfare of the
people, which is of the primary importance for the existence of any
gahmen, has again and again been glossed over by the use of "goodies"
like giving sweets to innocent and naive children. These are short-term
solutions, not long-term. What the people need is long-term solutions.
So, again, this is just fire-fighting measures, which they are so expert
in by now.

They demanded world best salary, yet they are not able to come out
with long-term solutions!

This is another case of taking Singaporeans first as tools and thereafter as fools!
If you allowed others to decide your destiny, you are an exploited worker.
If you allowed others to take away your freedom, you are a slave.

Topping up of edusave means more chances for free enrichment classes.

Free money handouts mean more to spend on leisure items..
