My personal take is that Singapore will WIN the Bid..

YOG and Olympic are kinda different level.. Moscow had hosted Olympic before and wouldn't it be great to give another opportunity for a small country like Singapore to host the Inagural YOG?

yo bro u are right lets celebrate man... will be good news for us !!

Singapore, The Inaugual Host of the Youth Olympic Games 2010

Postby timothytim on Fri Feb 22, 2008 1:22 am

Congrats to Singapore once again for winning the confidence of the international community to organise a world-class youth event! Such a youth movement will take Singapore to a new stage in terms of sporting achievements.

Now the responsibility is on us to make this inaugural event a resounding success. While we celebrate this historic moment, let's also get down to work to deliver in our promises. It's not going to be an easy road ahead, with just slightly more than 2 years to the event. Together, WE CAN!!!

Very good effort... Singapore is the only country that the PM went to visit the council .. of course they are moved and know we mean business... With F1, and YOG now in our belt lets strive for bigger things... Let's give the slogan "Malaysia Boleh" a good run for its money because "Singapore LAGI BOLEH! OLE OLE OLE!!"

Singapore, The Inaugual Host of the Youth Olympic Games 2010

CONGRATUALTION TO SINGAPORE. Once again, we have prove that littleRed dot has again make 1 step nearer to compete with the world.

With the host of F1, YOG, IR etc, our tourism will be growing, hopefully there is someone to review the transport cost etc.

And at the sametime, there will be more cameras on those popular areas to prevent crime, smooth traffic, surplus of transports, more dustins???

The Great YOG Talk

Postby Mrman on Fri Feb 22, 2008 3:13 pm

The return of investment will be more than enough to offset the cost of hosting the 2010 Youth Olympic Games and hence reap benefits for Singapore.
